cafe culture and a big thank you!

I thought it was about time I gave a heartfelt thank you to all my regular readers, blog friends and loyal followers for making this blogging journey such a wonderful and refreshing place of discovery.   You are all so talented, encouraging and appreciative and so very generous with your time and comments.  Thank you, thank you!  Welcome also to some new followers - its always lovely to see new faces in that little box.

As we all know, a post is not complete without at least one photo, so gratuitous though it may be, here are a couple of photos from our holiday last year in south west France.

We came across this very chic establishment in the village of St Esteph - rural and peaceful and a haven for walkers.  However, on entering we discovered a wonderful Bohemian cafe and shop which would not have been out of place in Paris or Amsterdam (note the map on the wall).  We spent a happy hour or so rummaging through vintage luggage, china and object d'art followed by coffee and a delicious crepe.

Happy days!

Have a lovely weekend!

Jeanne

  18. Jeanne, I so agree with you. I love to blog, and only wish I had more time to work on mine, and to visit others on a regular basis. Who needs newspapers or magazines! I believe we both aspire to a similar style of gardening, so it's always a pleasure to hear from you, and to look in on your posts. x
